An assessment of released study supports the idea that
healthy adults who are involved in weight training will develop muscles better
if they take protein health supplements.
The assessment, publicized lately in the American Journal of
Clinical Nutrition, investigated twenty-two research released between 1995 and
2010, which covered nearly seven hundred subjects. Twelve of the twenty two
studies used a mixture of whey, casein, and/or milk proteins as supplement; six
research supplemented with whey protein; two studies used essential amino
acids; one utilized casein protein only and one utilized egg protein. Nearly
all research immediately used protein supplementation prior, during and/or
after the exercise session.
The assessment determined that even with some difference in
few aspects, protein supplementation does enhance muscle mass and strength when
combined with continuous resistance-type exercise training.
