Body Detox | Eat Right and Exercise



You may already heard the word detox in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. The term is also used in facial cleanser and many other things. However, that is not the detox I am going to talk here. This article is about cleansing your body so that it can be free from toxins of bad foods. 

What is Detoxing?

Detoxing is the process of eliminating worthless and dangerous contents in the body. Cleansing the body can be traced back to Ancient Egyptians and Greeks in which they believed that the food they consumed could produce toxins in the body. They believed on cleansing the body in several different ways to remove toxins in it. The theory was later supported by science. Aside from the body, you can also detox other areas of your life. Meaningful and long healthy balanced life can be attained when you detox your mind, body, and soul. 

Clean Nutrition


Body detox can be done in different ways and the most important one is NUTRITION. Coming off the holidays, we consumed more foods than we normally would. We put more toxic types of food. The next thing you know, your nutrition suffers as you get busy in your life. 

The following are signs you would feel and experience if you put too much toxic in your body:

·         Tired and sluggish.
·         Skin problems such as dull complexion and acne.
·         Weight gain.
·         Can’t think clearly.

If you get one of these signs, then it will be a good idea to detox your body for you to get back to life. You need to have a proper nutrition program that centers in a natural whole food organic diet. As the old line goes “prevention is better than cure.” You can provide important vitamins, minerals and nutrients to your body by consuming real whole foods. 

It is important to put fresh fruits and vegetables on top of your list. Do not supply your body with foods having artificial ingredients, chemical additives, hormones, and pesticides as long as possible.

Exercise

The unwanted fat in the body keeps toxins and one effective way to eliminate extra fat is to sweat it out by exercising. Exercise can properly stimulate all the systems of the body to expel waste and lose fat. If you have a lot of fats in your body, this only means one thing; you stored a lot of toxins in your body.
